Dr. Mubina Jiwa, ND is the director of Essence of Health and an associate professor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She enjoys a private practice serving at two clinics in the GTA and consults for several companies in the GTA.

Dr. Jiwa has made radio and television appearances on CP24, Global News, Cosmetic Innovations and CHUM FM and has contributed to various publications such as NOW magazine and Chatelaine. She is a dynamic speaker and has been privileged to speak to several companies on health and wellness issues.

 

Dr. Jiwa has taken specialized courses in weight management, body composition, diabetes management, fertility, anti-aging and cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture. She received her designation of Naturopathic Doctor from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she completed a two year residency post graduation. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy. She holds a BSc. with a major in Nutritional Sciences and has collaborated on nutritionally related research projects at UBC, as well as, a community project on childhood obesity with the BC Childrens Hospital.
