Sweet Knee creator “Mama Platt” began her study of essential oils in 1986 (she was just a baby, of course). Through the years she has created many blends, but these are her favorites. Don’t be intimidated by essential oils. Ingredients: Sweet Knee blend of Origanum majorana (sweet marjoram)*, Citrus sinensis(sweet orange)* and Citrus reticulata(mandarin)* essential oils.
snooze, to calm and relax baby, and to create those all important peace time, bedtime, nap and riding in the car routines. I like it in the tub and I am putting it in Sweet Knee’s cool mist humidifier at night. It would work equally well in a diffuser.

breathe, to encourage deep relaxing breathing during colds and flu, or just to clear the air during those “germy” times. I like for sinus/allergies and when I’ve been around someone with a cold. It opens up the passageways without overwhelming and medicinal smells. (People are reporting using it in a spray bottle to ward off bugs too!)

Directions:
For ages 6 months and up dilute essential oil blend in a cool mist humidifier, diffuser, or even a spray bottle with distilled water (5-10 drops for these methods). Use the spray bottle on the high chair, crib linens, blanket, or car seat to set the mood. The blends can also be incorporated into the bath by thoroughly mixing 3-4 drops before placing baby in the tub. |
